Male: Blue crown/throat, red breast/above, yellow rump/belly
Female: Yellow undereath, greenish above, grey head
Juvenile: Like female
Habitats: Evergreen forest, secondry growth, pine forest; 1000 – 2500 m.
Range: Subspecies annmensis found common in South Annam (Da Lat Plateau); dabryii found in Central Highland, Kon Tum province and Tonkin
